The way Europe is just abandoning Ukraine is like how Arab leaders abandoned Palestine.

The enemy (in your case: Russia) isn't going to stop at Ukraine. I think they're serious about taking 1/3 of Ukraine.

Genuinely wish every other western country (and Poland) suffers what Ukraine is suffering. Those Ukrainians don't deserve an ounce of what they're getting.

I really appreciate you taking the time to explain this to me, after reading my replies I think I came off as an arrogant, know-it-all.

I'm also an ML, although I haven't read as much theory as you.

I believe China's plan is socialism by 2030, or was it 2050? Either way I'm excited to see what they achieve in the next few years/decades.

Thanks for the information; I just want to clarify a few things:

I don't think that socialism is when universal healthcare, my point was that China does control a significant amount of capital but they also have more they need to control i.e their healthcare industry.

I know that Europe funds all of its social safety nets via imperialism and bleeding the global south dry. I know China is not doing that, and that's why it's taking a seemingly long time for them to offer universal to their citizens. I don't fault them for going about this the honest, peaceful, and quite frankly moral and good way.

You're correct about my misconception, I thought they meant socialist in general when they said they don't consider themselves a modern socialist country.

Then again, I'm not sure why they would use "modern" in that regard considering they're going to be the first country in human history to achieve this form of socialism. There are no standards to by since China is setting the standards for something that most people believed wasn't possible.

I'm telling you what they themselves have stated: they are working towards socialism. They haven't achieved it yet, yes they control major industries but that still isn't enough to call them socialist.

They haven't even achieved universal healthcare yet, there are western nations that have come closer to universal healthcare than they have.

They're working towards socialism, but they're still capitalist.

China is working towards socialism; they're still capitalist as of now

Westoids and their obsession with calling everyone and their mother a fascist will never not be funny.

99% of the planet is capitalist, so 99% of the world is fascist?

Why don't you ever call European countries fascist?

"Now?"

"One day everyone will have been against this"

They are worse than Nazis, idc what anyone says. They are worse and there hasn't been an evil this gross and depraved in the world for a long while.

Only in America could this be the case

[–] [email protected] 8 points 3 weeks ago

Nah, atp Americans that don't understand their own constitution need to have snark thrown at them.

Being that fucking stupid is costing people their lives.

Why aren't Germans protesting the government? Not about Palestine but about their assault on German citizens' free speech?
