I've been using mostly all and local feeds as opposed to my subs to try and explore and find groups, but I swear the number of times I go to comment on a post only to find it's either a beehaw or via beehaw and I can't interact at all is about 2/3 of the time

You're so right, and they've also got a more tongue in cheek satire tone that walked so Shin Godzilla could run. Not the best Godzilla movie, weird choices made with the monster itself, but damn good satire work and cinematography to perfectly match the tone.

I'm really only now getting heavy into emulators and I've been playing a lot of PS2 titles on my android phone. That's rocky enough that I know 360 emulation on a phone would be trash. But how is it on PCs?

Program recommendations? Advice? Thanks!

Totally not doing this just because I'm finishing up RDR2 and I need to know the rest of the story from the original, nope not at all.

Beehaw dominates my feeds by having many of the most popular groups and posts. And yet, I can't participate in a single one, despite having two accounts on two of the other major instances. Neither are accepted there.

Fine! I'll make a Beehaw too so I can, you know, actually participate.

But no I have to apply? And I have to give reasons of why I should be let in? The fuck?

Well my application was rejected, I guess for being to vague on what I was joining for? I'm joining for a variety of communities and uses, as I'm sure most users are, so wtf kind of questions are those anyway.

Use a god damn captcha and let people fucking have accounts and use the fucking platform.

Posting for personal posting clarity as well as to put out something for thought to the community.

I'm not sure what r/shrooms policy was on this, I don't recall really noticing Amanita related posts on there though.

Amanita mushrooms are NOT psylocibin mushrooms but instead have different chemistry involved. Many guides mark them as poisonous, but some Amanita varieties, most commonly and notably Amanita Muscaria, are psychedelic in nature. Use of these mushrooms in such a manner dates back centuries, likely millenia, in regions with pine forests.

I'm in favor of including all mushrooms of psychedelic nature, but it is important to consider this for the community moving forward.

I've started seeing Amanita Muscaria popping up in smoke shops in my area in the US all of a sudden. It's generally legal and ignored, but it seems like it is going the way of Delta 8 and all the cannabinoids here soon. So expect to see WAY more discussion of mushrooms in reference to Amanita Muscaria in the coming months/years.
