And this is why MAU is down

You're the only one interpreting it like that.

Some trauma stays with you for life. No one's calling her a "used up rag," the reality is that she may continue to suffer from what happened for the rest of her life.

some right-wingers are not comfortable with lemmy funder being openly communists

You don't have to be a right winger to be uncomfortable with tankies

Or because many of these rappers came from poor and violent areas, where drug addiction, gang banging, and frivolous spending was what they knew

Uptime Kuma is in no way comparable to what Datadog offers. The best FOSS alternative would be the whole Prometheus/Granada/Thanos/Loki/etc stack, and that would require at least a whole volunteer just to set up and administer.

There's nothing wrong with DD, they're a staple in the cloud industry and are absolutely trustworthy.

Exception that proves the rule? Cause yeah, Apple Maps is actually a Google Maps competitor now, which is great.

Isn't face recognition just going to be inherently rly less reliable on darker skinned people? Their features would certainly have less contrast on darker skin, no?

Given that there's variance among even the same key switches, as well as differences in sound based on the construction of the keyboard the switches are placed in, possibly even based on the surface the keyboard is placed on, the model would probably have to be trained specifically for a given target.

Since I'm working from home, I have much bigger things to worry about if attackers get access to my physical machine to train their model lol

I wouldn't be on this subreddit if I didn't know that.

But I would also buy a lot more media if I could buy it in the way I want

I caved and went for n+1, bought a road bike and took it on my usual evening 26k route.

Beat every segment record lol

I'd read that the Hot feed degrades over time while a server is running, and this is responsible for users being shown several month or year old posts when browsing by hot. Some instances like lemmy.world get around this by restarting the server several times a day.

I was just curious about how often sh.itjust.works is restarted, since I've been seeing a high amount of old posts on hot recently.

I like to see if my comments are getting any engagement at a glance. Right now, I have to click to be taken to each one

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. When sorting by New on All, there are a couple posts on the top of the feed from the future.
