It really does depend on the model. Pre-T2 security chip, running Linux on a Mac was more or less the same as running it anywhere else as long as you had the drivers installed. The T2 definitely complicated things a lot.

I also do this with my girlfriend. We both have a blåhaj and I’ll leave him in my chair when I need to do something, and she’ll do the same with hers.
I’m curious, what about as someone with a Canadian spouse? I’m not married, but since my partner is Canadian that’ll likely be the case eventually, and it would be nice to both be citizens of the same country (and she’s not looking to become an American citizen so that’s irrelevant). Would it be somewhat viable in that scenario?
Yeah Siri being more understanding is pretty nice and has gotten me to actually use it more again, but beyond that none of it is super useful to me.
…I did enjoy finally getting to make “shrimp with cowboy hat” using Genmoji after Apple kept using that as an example, though
If you went to a store, purchased a board game, took it home and played it for a couple years, and then suddenly someone from that store came to your house, took the game from you and prevented you from playing it further, would that not be them stealing your money? Not really sure how this is different.
Ryujinx is also freely available and doesn’t have the weird past that Yuzu did, and also wasn’t forced to shut down.
I’m honestly not sure why everyone is holding on to Yuzu so strongly when Ryujinx has been a better option for a while now.
Not having backups here on iOS stresses me out. I like using iOS beta updates, but knowing I’m one bad beta from having to restore my phone (where every other little thing except Signal is backed up and waiting) and lose my conversation history forever really bugs me.
Don’t even get me started on disk partitioning. I feel like they somehow have the most obtuse partitioning setup out of every distro I’ve ever installed. It feels like if you don’t just hand over your whole disk (which, if you do that, I feel like it doesn’t make it clear how it’s going to partition it), the installer gets very spiteful and just goes “fine then, figure it out”. I’ve never had so much trouble manually partitioning a disk before, I would literally rather just use fdisk lol.
Second this. rusticl worked perfectly for me when I needed to get OpenCL working with my 6600XT.
DualShock 4 and DualSense touch pads do this too! They even support multi touch so you can do left/right/middle click by using multiple fingers.
I believe it’s suggesting the negative reviews are all people with COVID, with the spikes in negative reviews being spikes in COVID cases, based on the dates.
Every time I see this picture I just think of how much I’d love to see what this house is like on the inside. Like if it’s this wild on the outside, the inside has to be pretty interesting too, right?
