I can't speak for others but for me I don't have a general practitioner because I will never go to any doctor if I don't have to. I just simply can't afford it or am absolutely terrified to find out how much the time bomb of a mystery the medical bill will be. I've never even looked because I already know I can't afford to see a doctor for pretty much anything. It sucks

But we must remember to think about the shareholders!!! Won't somebody please think of the shareholders!!
All I can think about anytime I see this picture now is the fact that the crazy geoguessr guy was able to find that exact tree on Google maps.
I mean, I think waaaaay more than anything people are just excited for literally anything other than a 9000 year old dude. That sucks in general but on top of that the only two flavors of wrinkly old dude we got was senile grandpa or pathological liar mega asshole. I think at this point people would get pretty hyped about a three legged goat running for president.
Not shitting on Kamala, I am starting to like her more and more and wish her the best for sure but I'd take literally just about anything at this point.
The big piece looks like someone cut out a circle from the middle and then tried to put it back and it's bothering me.
Most studies say it's already too late to stop a lot of it. There's tons and tons of studies and models that say if we magically cut off all sources of climate forcing we'd still see an increase from the damage already done for centuries. We can obviously make things a LOT better for ourselves by stopping or limiting ourselves right now but a lot of damage is already done. Plus any significant changes will most likely take a decade plus to really get momentum and actually take place anyway.
That's why now you're starting to see a lot more research into mitigation rather than prevention cause we're starting to move into the "well how are we going to fix this" phase rather than the "we need to stop this from happening phase"
The biggest indicators are the oceans. Just take a gander at oceanic temperatures over the last like 25 years. since they absorb something like 95% of our thermal extremes we're seeing some bonkers changes out there...
Punishing people with higher taxes for not making a decision because they feel like it's already too hard and expensive to make that decision in an effort to fix that problem is surely going to help!
Right? I mean in a sense you do get more votes... Each child will grow up and have voting power. So if you have 7 children, congratulations! Your family will get rewarded with 7 additional votes... They get a equal stake, that stake isn't just magically given to you for some reason.
Self proclaimed super duper genius Elon Musk... tricked into signing documents??? Impossible! One of the greatest minds in our lifetime, nay the entirety of the human race tricked by the woeful woke mind virus! Oh no!! What are we gonna do???!!!
I bet whoever tricked him is the same person that tricked him into thinking the donkey piss design of the cybertruck was a good idea.
What a complete sack this dude is steadily revealing himself to be.
I feel like this is just not talked about enough. I will never understand why the discussion is what percentage is enough. The percentage would always be enough. The value will increase so long as the price does. But it's like people just gloss over that and are like "well back in the day 15% was enough but now? It's gotta be 50%"
And what if I did do it? Even though I admit to nothing, and never will. What does that make me? And I'm not here just defending myself but all those pickers out there who've been caught. Each and every one of them, who has to suffer the shame and humiliation because of people like you.
Are we not human?! If we pick, do we not bleed?! I Am Not An Animal!
The whole thing is dumb. It's a tire company. But not just that, it's a French tire company. Name your top 3 favorite French dishes. Now name your top three favorite French restaurant. If you're like me, you can't even name one of either and after thinking about it, I can't even remember even seeing a single french restaurant in my life outside of like a wine place or French bakery or something. Despite having possibly one of the least popular cuisines in all of the earth they are the ones choosing where we should all eat.
On top of that the system is super dumb. You can only have a Michelin star if your restaurant is in a place that allows them. Most states in the US are not allowed to have a Michelin star. You could be the best restaurant in all of the world but if your not in Chicago, New York City, LA, Vegas, or San Francisco too bad (and I think Miami now? Texas is about to get some too but only in Houston, Dallas and Austin cause... reasons).
In addition, they only allow a certain number of Michelin stars per location. So if you start an absolute kickass restaurant in a place that happens to allow Michelin stars but already has a few restaurants that have stars, well too bad, there aren't any stars left. Tough shit.
But as dumb as it is... God damn is it phenomenal marketing so I guess... Good job?
