Isn't that a problem with most forms of heat? Propane forced air furnace isn't doing shit without electricity. Multizone boiler isn't doing shit without power (I may be half wrong here). Outdoor wood burner isn't doing shit without power. Your left with a wood/coal stove/fireplace, or wall propane burners scattered around. Wood furnace in the basement can get you by. But without electricity most forms of heat are screwed anyways aren't they?

Interesting read. So I now wonder if MS also existed and would present itself back when this gene became prevalent (and people lived long enough), or if there are new environmental factors (or anything else) that is tricking this gene/immune system into thinking that the nerve coating is something that it should be attacking.

Have you not seen a paystub? It would not surprise me if you haven't, but they clearly show what taxes are being deducted. We're already in a corporat hell hole. You really want ticket master in charge of roadways? There goes your right to traveling freely.

Yeah taxes suck, but take off your rose tinted glasses and truly look at what that free market would become. Think about how selfish you'd want to be in making your money and multiply that by, well everyone in the US. Whole lot of middle men that need to make money. I'd rather keep the personal profit out of it.

I agree fundamentally, but I think, especially with AI faking stuff, we need to get back to people just writing things off as shitty ripoffs and ignoring them. Take away the novelty of it and it'll go away. Disney made this particular bed. Now they gotta lay in it.

I for some reason have enough faith in humanity that once we how dumb this all plays out some realistic rules can be put in place.

I don't mind a good example being made of this. The original creator(s) are long dead and gone. All the current copyright laws do are prevent innovation and protect money flow of large corporations in my opinion. Is was originally so individuals who came up with new great ideas could reap the rewards of that idea. No longer is that the case.

"The Copyright Act of 1790 was the first statute in the United States to identify definite provisions of copyright law and permitted authors the right to their intellectual property for a duration of 14 years. Today, depending on the type of work, copyright terms can reach up to 120 years. Historically, Disney has been exceedingly protective of their intellectual property and is a prominent supporter and lobbyist for copyright term extension (Bernaski, 2014). Disney's involvement in copyright term extension originates from their goal to prevent their copyrights from entering the public domain, specifically their Mickey Mouse character."

Source of that quote.

I say make a good example of them. The creator should benifit from their creations, but ideas should not be stifled for generations to accomplish that.

Disclaimer: I have not read my source, shame on me if it is counter to my opinion. But corporations are not people, I don't care what the SC says.

"Footnote: In a New York Times/Siena College poll, 62 percent of Republicans say Trump should remain the nominee "even if he is subsequently convicted of a federal crime."

What’s more, while more than one in five Republicans agree that Trump has committed crimes, Biden is winning only a third of those who believe his rival should be found guilty."

I'm just failing to come up with any scenarios where that'd be helpful other than some Q conspiracies being true or something. But IANAL..

I mean sure that might buy him some time, but I was under the impression that you can't just show new evidence during a trial that you had before the trial. Isn't all evidence shared between parties before setting foot in the court room?

The much simpler explanation I think is he's talking out his ass and praying for a dictator Trump to save him.
