It'll be interesting to see how this works with ReVanced, which is technically their own app, just stripped of the ads and sponsors. Can't be dinged for adblocking when they're never served up to begin with.

Just started using this, and I have to say... wefwef is way better than any of the current apps. By a lot.

Yep, this is the same shit they were trying to pull with the Xbox and Sony out a bunch of commercials of them handing their games to each other to let their friends borrow the game.

There will likely eventually be a way to migrate your account just like mastodon, however kbin is a different platform altogether and you would need a new account there.

I only have a couple more weeks that I'll get to use reddit. The official app is trash, and I'm a 100% mobile user - so when my app dies I'm done there...
I'm waiting for one of these platforms to make a good app and I'll settle there, but until then I'll fragment my time.
Swiping up to close the link and swiping right to go back to the feed was a game changer. I'm finding Jerboa hard to use without it. :(
