It took me a few seconds too, but yes, it's related to having stretched ear lobes.
I'm currently watching the old Batman show with Adam West. Trump as president was almost as cartoon-y as the villains in that show.

I will admit I was overgeneralizing by saying "the west" but where I'm from (Northern Europe) most of these practices are certainly not the norm.
I'm not accusing you of being a bot, I'm asking what it was about my comment that made you react to it and not the other comments mentioning milk. I grew up on a dairy farm and like somebody else mentioned, most of the things you mention are just not common practice anymore. At least not in the west.
