loved my Vega 56, performed well, and a little undervolting fixed the power issue big time... didn't feel like I were missing out for "not buying Nvidia"

they do give recommandations... but they don't know WHAT they are recommending for, having something more specific would help make better recommandations

I love my 12100... games quite nicely though it is showing some limitations in the most heavy games but if you can make do with sub 200 fps in shooters and sub 100 fps in other games then it is quite nice... more quiet games I limit to 60 fps anyways (Satisfactory, Farming Simulator 22 etc.) then it runs at like 20W when gaming lol and the 3060 Ti sips under 200W most of the time

make magsafe network cables... I am sure they would love it when routing cables in a rack :D

nah 2,5Gbit is super cheap now...

4x 2,5Gbit + 2x 10Gbit = €72 (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0C64N2QN7)
8x 2,5Gbit + 1x 10Gbit = €98 (https://www.amazon.de/Unmanaged-Ethernet-Switching-Capacity-Compatible/dp/B0C5D2Y4FH)

yes they aren't "20 dollah" like the 1Gbit ones but those prices aren't bad at all and there are like a bajillion models on the market these days

interesting analogy... we learned that it was just a computer standing with a megaphone screaming to all other pc's on the same hub... where a switch was like sending a papernote to your classmate during class ;-)

oh yeah, I remember the ole coax networking what was it 10Base2 or something weird? with terminators in each end of the cable and all the machines spamming the same cable... but hey we got to game on a network and it was fun but it was a pita to run and and setup

then we moved on to hubs... still lots of collisions... and THEN the golden age of SWITCHES dawned... that was the times :D
