wuh oh, I haven't updated in a while, only a couple times since the explicit sync fix and I haven't had any issues. I was just planning on doing that today though...

The new nvidia driver has explicit sync, wayland perfect for me since I updated it a week or so ago.

Speaking as a trans person, I took part in a lot of legal proceedings to legally change my identity and get treatment. So you go registered car, go ahead and get registered. :)

They already played past the refund period. Depending how complicated the game is they might have needed that time to really formulate a comprehensive opinion. And now that they have already played the game, they might as well play it. Goodness knows I have guilty pleasure games that are honestly not that fun but they scratch some sort of itch even if they may be overall disappointing with some clear avenue for improvement I wish they had made.

I've done it before too, lowest point in my life, just grabbed some scissors and cut down my long hair :(

A little upsetting to see people calling it a trope, when it is a real reaction to trauma :/

Feels like you're missing the point of the fourth bulletpoint. What they are saying, is not that AI is not taking people's jobs, only that true potential comes from real humans that provide some quality that AI is not capable of truly replacing. It is being used to replace people with it's inferior imitations.

Not that your point is invalid, it absolutely is a valid and valuable criticism itself.

I don't really recall anything, maybe a random bump, I used to be rather clumsy. In my early 20s I definitely suffered some trauma though.

My moment was using the experimental repos to get an early view into wayland, after seeing it wasn't quite ready for my system I just switched back. Mistakes made, and slowly over the next few weeks as I updated, the experimental packages never got superseded and updated, until my system crashed and would not pass boot.

Luckily since it is not windows I just used a live usb stick to mount the disk and manually reinstall all the broken system packages. Scary but made me feel pretty confident I could recover the system myself in the future. Also learned a pretty important lesson. Don't do that, and look at the upgrade log if you do lol, cause the whole time, as I upgraded there was red text showing me all the system packages that were not getting updated.

Hi, yes I have aphantasia too and can't picture things :) personally I remember being able to when I was younger but I lost the ability somewhere around my teens.

Not to mention, the vast majority of Americans can't even dream of having enough money to afford the move to begin with. The American dream is reasonable rent and affordable debt repayments now.
