Looking forward to seeing elevator fixes coming into the Live servers. This has been my primary blocker to play atm

Thanks for the heads up on this one. Just took a look at installed apps through the settings menu, and yep, there it is.. Uninstalled!
Agreed. I've only just started playing in the last couple of weeks, and mechanically speaking this has been my main gripe. Still having a tonne of fun though
Timeshift is a very common tool for backing up and creating restore points.
For dot file management, I personally back up my dot files to a locally hosted server, but I used to have a private git repo for this on GitHub. Then I put together a simple bash script to automate placing the dot files
