that's exactly why I use an old thinkpad, they're much more solid than newer ones and are a lot more modular/durable/easy to repair because every component is bulkier.

oh yeah the quad core upgrade is great, browsers run so much better with a 3632qm than the stock 3320m. Also, although everyone says the delta cooler (the nice quiet one on the t430) is insufficient with the quad core, it works perfectly fine in my experience with fresh thermal paste
idk, never worried about it but my main computer doesn't have it so I just passively use that for important things
I assume if the PD charger can support the voltage required it'll charge no matter what? If you read the back of the charger it should say what voltages/max current they support and it should the voltage and max current on the framework as well
I think the 180w requirement isn't really a requirement but just enough power that it can charge while drawing the maximum amount of power
i mean Bluetooth never works well on any hardware in my experience, I always just avoid it like the plague
