Hey OP I wanted to thank you for the playlist again, it has become my favorite and I truly enjoy the overall mood and well thought order of songs! I listen to it fairly often and have recommended to others as well. I tried to PM my thanks but the app keeps crashing ๐Ÿ˜…

Heard from a friend who has an autism diagnosis that after getting it some health care people started treating them in a "custodial" way, as if they were simple or had problems understanding, doctors wouldn't listen to them and so on. For example it might make it more difficult to get help with mental health issues because "it's just the autism". I told my psychiatrist that I'm aware of such and they kind of agreed that this can happen.

This is what my psychiatrist kinda told me between the lines when I told them I suspect AuDHD. I would like to * know *, just to have an explanation to some things ADHD diagnosis alone doesn't explain. But the autism diagnosis might cause more harm than good - as I don't have severe problems related to those traits, so it would be unlikely to get any help but for example might encounter discrimination in health care etc...

Feels.

Also: Under-stimulated -> anxiety -> Have To Do Something, Anxiety Driving Me Nuts-> DO ALL THE THINGS -> stress!! -> stimulation burst because of stress -> overwork -> over-stimulated -> burnout -> depression -> under-stimulated

My mom and her husband were checking out a flat and the real estate agent had their fly open. After that they'd refer to her as "the fly-open" and remind each other of that person every now and then. I wasn't there yet I remember the case. So I give you second generation memory of an awkward person!

Thanks! We will, there have been several reindeer on the road or in the ditch nearby so need to stay focused!

I find it easier to make friends with people that are also on the spectrum and then other stuff comes on top of it, rather than trying to find friends through a shared interest and then trying to adjust to normies strange way of being ๐Ÿ˜… (although it seems that many of my friends that I made through a shared interest in the first place later turned out to be on the spectrum...)

You can definitely split the Elvanse capsule for a smaller dose, it's safe and doesn't affect the drug itself. Where I live Elvanse is so expensive it would make sense to try and get as high dose as possible and just split it to smaller doses to save money. The price is like 95-135โ‚ฌ for 30 capsules... Also a good-to-know that doctors don't tell but should: 2 grams of vitamin C should get rid of most of the drug in your system in about an hour or so, take with plenty of water and prepare to piss a lot. For example if you have problems falling asleep or feel like it's lasting too long you could try if vitamin C helps. Also if you accidentally take too much. I wonder why the doctors don't often mention about this because taking vit-C supplements will lessen the effect of Elvanse.

And like the others said, it will take a while to get used to the drug. There's also the "wow-factor" in the beginning that might make the effect of the drug feel stronger. But it's a good idea to start with a smaller dose first. No need to force yourself and feel uncomfortable with too big a dose.
