I'm a fairly extreme introvert but I don't make shit up when I don't want to do something. Kind of reads like he thought he could blame WWE and they said the fuck you can, go tell the truth.

Never would have happened under Vince, It's classy of them to acknowledge it. Although I wonder if Pat went off script by actually mentioning the match being epic.

So he sold 8mm shares a few months ago, and another 5mm shares now, if they sold for yesterday's low of 79 buckeroos, that's 1.027 billion dollars before taxes. The current capital gains tax on that amount is roughly 205.5 million... so he would clear 821.6 million cash. Obviously, those numbers aren't accurate because he cashed out chunks at different times and price points, but it's eye-wateringly crazy amounts close to that. This also doesn't account for the TKO WWE merger and if that qualifies his stock as new stock, if so he'd possibly owe income tax up to 37% on that if it's considered short-term gains.

Either that woman is about to get a ton of cash tossed at her, or he's planning to hide the wealth in some way.

I didn't get notified of this until 3 AM this morning, so it seems even on Kbin notifications are delayed sometimes by hours.

I wish they had Schiavone give the classic... sorry folks we are out of time!

Unfortunately their hands were tied by PPV providers only allowing a specific chunk of broadcast time.

As long as the lights are on I'll lurk the empty halls of kb... Error 50x..

When they say Magnus my mind immediately goes to Nick Aldis' name in TNA.

Unless you are retiring some set of belts, please no more, they have more than enough belts and so little time. I will relent if they turn Rampage into a women's show and don't just rely on one segment a show.

As I mentioned elsewhere, if Sting thinks it is time, it's time, and I'm glad that he stuck to his guns because Greensboro is more important when it comes to Sting than England is.

I still very much dislike Lemmy, and really like K/Mbin but they are both shitting the bed on Federation... I understand why things are heavily leaning toward Lemmy, I don't have to like it though and obviously, I made an account to keep posting with you lot.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Have you at least considered the Kbin fork, Mbin, I have little desire to join lemmy, I have an account, squidwardsclarinet, from last time Kbin shit the bed, and I'm not a fan of it, but am not against using it if need be. I'm not against moving although I lean stay Kbin/Mbin adjacent. I absolutely get wanting to move because for weeks Kbin has been a mess.

For reference I believe kbin.run is an Mbin instance.

Doesn't Dixie still have a minority stake in this company? If so, and even if not, they should call her up and ask her about this... If my memory is correct it became a budgetary black hole when Spike dumped them and quit paying the production costs, it's just not worth the expense if you are a small company on a shoestring budget.

Pat LaPrade in Montreal first reporting PCO's exit. PWInsider.com learned independently that he is indeed exiting.

I paraphrased the stories and link to the originals.

Khan, HHH, Dunn, and Blum come out, Khan hypes and introduces McMahon. McMahon introduces his new boss Ari. Ari talks about wanting to be WWE's agent 20 years ago, mentions his daughter works for WWE. They pushed the merger as an evolution of the company. All execs except for Vince stayed and talked with employees.

PWInsider Story 1

Employees were allegedly unhappy about Vince claiming the company had hit a plateau because business was great after he was kicked out and if it hadn't been they would have let him back without him needing to force his way in and causing Stephanie to leave. Employees were sympathetic towards Stephanie and HHH.

Ari's reference to getting his daughter hired was jokey or serious depending on who you ask. His daughter has actually been an employee for "some time." Ari stayed and spoke with employees, as did the other execs, Vince left immediately though.

HHH did not speak from the stage. Vince was obviously still recovering, yes they served refreshments.

PWInsider Story 2
Vince used a cane to get up on the stage and to get to the podium. Vince played up he's "Vince, Damnit" and then forced them to clap for him, "this is when you're supposed to clap" and "you're learning" when they clapped.

Everything was filmed by a WWE crew. Execs came out from behind an old RAW set.

Do you go to independent events?

If so, do you have a preferred promotion?

Do they have a YouTube where I can look them up?

TMZ.com is reporting Windham "Bray Wyatt" Rotunda passed away in his sleep during a nap last week. He was discovered by what the article described as his girlfriend (Jojo Offerman) and that his mother attempted CPR as the authorities were called.

Citing a police report, they also noted that Wyatt had been in the hospital the week before and had been advised to wear an external defibrilator to assist with his heart during a follow-up appointment with his doctors. The device was found in Rotunda's vehicle parked outside his home.

The Republican-led House Judiciary Committee is expected to open a congressional investigation into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis as soon as Thursday, a source tells CNN – the same day former President Donald Trump is slated to surrender at the county jail after being charged for participating in schemes to meddle with Georgia’s 2020 election results.

The committee is expected to ask Willis whether she was coordinating with the Justice Department, which has indicted Trump twice in two separate cases, or used federal dollars to complete her investigation that culminated in the fourth indictment of Trump, the source added. The anticipated questions from Republicans about whether Willis used federal funding in her state-level investigation mirrors the same line of inquiry that Republicans used to probe Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who indicted Trump in New York for falsifying business records to cover up an alleged hush money scheme.

Meanwhile, Georgia Republicans could launch their own state-level investigation into Willis’ probe, according to GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, who has spoken to top officials in the state about a potential probe. She has also been pushing for a congressional-led inquiry into Willis, who has previously dismissed GOP accusations accusing her of being partisan and consistently defended her investigation.

“I’m going to be talking to (House Judiciary Chair) Jim Jordan, (House Oversight Chair) Jamie Comer, and I’d like to also ask (Speaker) Kevin McCarthy his thoughts on looking at doing an investigation if there is a collaboration or conspiracy of any kind between the Department of Justice and Jack Smith’s special counsel’s office with the state DA’s,” Greene told CNN. “So, I think that could be a place of oversight.”

It all amounts to a familiar playbook for House Republicans, who have been quick to try to use their congressional majority – which includes the ability to launch investigations, issue subpoenas and restrict funding – to defend the former president and offer up some counter programming amid his mounting legal battles. But they’ve also run into some resistance in their extraordinary efforts to intervene in ongoing criminal matters, while there are questions about what jurisdiction they have over state-level investigations.

The title was altered slightly so I could remove their all-caps titles.

Basically, Punk is using his power to block people from attending or working some Collision events.

TMZ Sports has learned WWE Superstar Sonya DeVille suffered a serious knee injury that will require surgery.

Paramount has agreed to sell Simon & Schuster to private equity firm KKR for $1.6 billion in cash, after more than three years of trying to offload the book publishing powerhouse.

Not really excited about this.

I guess they are no longer content with just talking down to Reddit mods and users but now must go after news organizations that continue to bring up their misdeeds.
