I joined the army specifically because my grandfather was RA in 1939 and had been wounded in the Aleutian island campaign before being reppled into the ETO in time for the battle of the bulge and dachau. He didn’t talk to his (non military, non combat) son but when I came back from having seen the elephant we had long talks.
The hell with that war.

And we won! That was a good 2nd half and we finally scored a TD in the 2nd half for the first time in weeks.
Ooof. Heard it was 0-14 but we evened it up. That’s helpful at least. Going into halftime it’s tied up with KC receiving the ball at the start of the 3rd quarter.
Well it’s tied up right before the half. 25 sec to go. Glad we are back to that.
Was busy and just jumped on. See that it’s 7-14 w KC trailing at the 2 min warning of first half. What has transpired?
