My take here is that they purposely remove this and all these other functionalities - that’s an unnecessary distraction given you likely have one easily accessible on your phone or computer - I imagine they aren’t too far away. Same with a clock - I don’t need that on my writing pad. They are trying to emulate a writing experience, and a dictionary is not part of the writing experience - it is a tool that writer’s use, for sure - please don’t misunderstand me…

I gave my studious high school teen a remarkable for their bday last year and there has only been praise since. I was then asked what I would like for my bday this year, and I said - a Remarkable would be nice. I very much saw myself using it for personal and work. And I have been. It’s been a little under a month, and I am so pleased with it. I used it constantly - and today about 4 hours of journaling in peace and solitude. It is better than I thought it would be. The distraction free environment is incredible - that there is no clock is testament to their commitment of a distraction free experience. I have rediscovered my love for writing, which has been missing from my life for nearly two decades…it’s nice to have it back again.

No clue, friend. I’ve never owned an Android… I assume something similar. It is equivalent to printing to PDF, only it skips a step and doesn’t create the PDF anywhere but the app

I discovered that if I look to print any document on iPhone, if I click the up arrow “share” button while on the printer selection screen, I can actually simply select share to remarkable, in which the document is converted to a PDF, and synced with the tablet. Wonderful!! So easy - thought I would share in case it is helpful for anyone.
