Give me native Obsidian support or I quit

I'm confused, I thought these features were in beta ages ago and were added to stable in the last update?

I’m a huge fan. I underline constantly, so getting the straight lines is fantastic.

I don’t understand how I can place a checkbox… it’s always on the same place?!

I use the straight line tool to make my own checkboxes :) it’s much more satisfying…haha

Both Features are great gifgif

This is absolutely magical, I’ve had the 3.8 update for a few weeks and it’s made such a huge difference. Can’t believe it took them this long…

The “long press for a straight line” feels really intuitive

Can someone explain how to use the new feature of checkbox. Thanks

You choose it form where you choose other text formating options like title and bullets.

The small eraser is driving me nuts. Can we adjust that?

I’ve never missed that much while it wasn’t there, but the straight line feature is just so good and convenient now that it exists! Really smart, and for once a feature I can already tell that I’m using all the time.

Great, people have been asking for the straight line feature for years. Where are all the people who were against for because "REmarKABLe Is MeanT To be LikE PhySICAL paper, it SHOULDN't Do anytHing A pIece of PAPeR cAn't DO!"

They are all sulking in the dark corners of the basement, I'd assume.

I've been filling out questionnaires for a while, and requesting autocorrecting lines. So I'm thrilled! :-D

Integration with Apple notes is all I need for me to purchase this

I played with this update today and I couldn’t find a way to erase/remove a checkbox once placed. Anyone smarter than me?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

If you go back to the Text Formatting menu you can use the same menu when you placed the check box to remove it via the on-screen-keyboard.

Apple notes uses its rich text format, that is incompatible with everything else, including Markdown.

However, Apple Notes did get improved PDF support recently, did it not? And with reMarkable connect, you can connect the synching-feature to the iCloud drive and store all your handwritten notes as PDF. Once there, you can add them to Apple notes.

You can make a Shortcut that takes all new PDF files in a (iCloud drive) folder and creates a new note in Apple Notes for each new PDF file, then adds the PDF file to the note. Or take all the PDF files that you manually select, etc. (there are tutorials for Shortcuts on YouTube).

That’s a shame then , sounds like too much work to get it working with notes

Any news about the future for the bookmarks improvements?
