Ubuntu, specifically the netbook edition.

That little guy struggled with Windows 7 Starter, but it got some pep in it's step when Linux was installed!

Unfortunately its not a third party module but manufacturer built-in features.

Modern cars are internet-enabled, allowing access to services like navigation, roadside assistance and car apps that drivers can connect to their vehicles to locate them or unlock them remotely. In recent years, automakers, including G.M., Honda, Kia and Hyundai, have started offering optional features in their connected-car apps that rate people’s driving. Some drivers may not realize that, if they turn on these features, the car companies then give information about how they drive to data brokers like LexisNexis.

I run Tilix with split terminals and always have one with htop running. It is so satisfying finding a troublesome process and killing it in htop.

Looking at you hanged ssh sessions...

The development cycle is very iterative, and incredibly time consuming, which is why games are now taking six and seven years to build, as they've gotten bigger and deeper," said Wilson, "So the first thing for us is how do we make that more efficient?"

I dunno maybe take a page from indie developers and make fun games that are innovative?

I'll take quality over quantity every time.

I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon works some accounting magic to make hosting eBooks to look like a more expensive endeavor than printing physical books.

"Your honor it costs us 5x the amount to host, license, and provide eBooks to customers than it costs the publishers to print physical books. Especially now that we've implemented AI in the toolchain! AI IS EXPENSIVE!", Amazon's Lawyer desperately arguing their case.

The bill had 22 primary sponsors, including Republican state Sen. Larry Walker, who told NPR he was upset to learn his local library worked with the ALA to increase literary representation for the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.

“I feel this is kind of being forced on our children and kind of shoved down our throat," Walker told NPR. "I'm a pretty tolerant individual, but this has gone too far."

NPR must have misquoted Sen. Larry Walker given he was a primary sponsor of this absolute asinine piece of legislation.

I think what he really said was, "I'm a pretty intolerant individual and this has gone too far! "

These cowards are acting like the ALA are instructing librarians to slip LGBTQ+ or BIPOC books in kids backpacks while they are busy playing Minecraft on the Library computers.

Governor Abbot has made an official statement on the wildfires, "This unprecedented wildfire was exacerbated by green technology, specifically those GOD DAMN WINDMILLS!"

Handbrake will rip DVDs, but not Blu Rays. That's were good ol' MakeMKV comes in.

I rip with MakeMKV (which will do DVDs as well) and then convert/encode the MKVs with Handbrake.

I do the conversion/encoding because the ripped files can be 35-50 GBs for regular Blu Rays (UHD Blu Rays are even bigger!) and I can get them down to 3-8 GBs with minimal quality loss.

I then toss the smaller MKVs on my jellyfin server.

EDIT: Handbrake CAN rip Blu Rays but only if they arent copy protected. MakeMKV is able to rip protected Blu Rays and DVDs.

That is in response to the initial autopsy not showing physical trauma. Kane is saying because of those initial results, classmates are speculating what caused Nex's death aka spreading rumors.

Kane is also one the organizer of the walkout and said...

There’s been bullying issues. This time, the bullying has gone so far that a student has passed,” said Kane, who is one of the organizers of Monday’s walkout. “To me, it doesn’t matter if Nex passed from a traumatic brain injury or if they passed from suicide. What matters is the fact that they died after getting bullied, and that is the story for so many other students. I’ve been close to ending it myself because of bullying. It’s not new for so many students.”
