sffa.community stands for Science Fiction Fantasy Alliance. It's a small instance focused on Sci-fi and Fantasy in all mediums but its still trying to get on its feet.
I mean businesses under capitalism have to support themselves somehow. On the web if you're not a storefront you basically have to either advertise or offer subs.
Surely we'll see a new Ad crash soon. The entire internet seems to be run on ads and sponsorships which doesn't sound stable to me.
Fair enough! I did think about asking to start a SFF Gaming community but I don't have anything to post yet. I'm hoping I can get ADHD meds soon so I can try writing reviews.
I only punch interdimensionally. Damn those lazy Gorblecks.
I'm not sure if this falls within the purview of this community but I've been rereading the comic Kill Six Billion Demons. It's got incredible otherworldly art, a strange universe that's incredibly detailed beyond the comic if you read the lore the author puts in the comments. It starts with a normal girl who gets pulled in to this world trying to save her boyfriend but it becomes so much more. I recommend starting with page one and avoiding the front page until catch up.
Ah, I just realized that I should warn you that it does contain r*pe. It's not graphically described and it's not copious but it's probably come up at least once a book so far. I don't think it's really all that necessary to the plot, either.
I understand. I wish I had some kind of talent I could share by making posts.
Love the art! The tech in the book sounded roughly modern, maybe 90's to late 00's, but I couldn't help but imagine it as a little cyberpunk.
I donated but I wish I knew how to help this project gain more momentum. Maybe we need to proselytize more.
Metal bands do some of the coolest shit sometimes.
