can some one ELI5.... is this a way for me to run windows stuff using linux? OR is this for linux stuff to run in windows?

I really want an easier way to run windows stuff in linux, my hatred grows with every notification, update, attempt to advertise to me, and interference in my workspace. but trialing mint is great but the ultimate test is failing with a few programs not really playing nice with linux.

it depresses me to know that they will return for another attempt, but for now they are used as an example of failure. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2008-08-07/32188

who would have guessed that when you let companies profile you through your phone, tv, social media they can sell you things that are not really what you need but what lets you identify as a person who needs to carry 3000kgs on the regular when really your just a poser who takes suppliments at the gym while fingering your pretty rectangle searching for your next dopamine hit.

"A provocative act by former Australian of the Year Grace Tame has stolen the limelight – again – at a morning tea with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for recipients of the 2025 awards.

The 2021 winner wore a “F*** Murdoch” T-shirt when she was greeted by Mr Albanese and his fiancee, Jodie Haydon, at The Lodge in Canberra on Saturday.

The PM and Ms Haydon smiled and greeted Ms Tame, but there was no visible reaction to the incendiary statement on her shirt." https://michaelwest.com.au/from-side-eye-to-show-stopper-as-tame-stuns-pm/

Intermittent calorie restriction improved executive function and memory measures in cognitively intact older adults, an exploratory pilot study suggested.

The 8-week randomized clinical trial of 40 overweight, cognitively normal older adults with insulin resistance examined the effect of two interventions -- a 5:2 intermittent fasting plan versus a "healthy living" diet based on portion control and calorie reduction guidelines from the U.S. Department of Agriculture -- on brain health. The 5:2 intermittent fasting group had 2 days of food intake of 480 calories/day (two meal replacement shakes), and 5 days of a healthy living diet.

Both interventions improved executive function and memory, with intermittent fasting showing better results on certain cognitive measures, said Dimitrios Kapogiannis, MD, of the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, in a poster presented at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference.

Yes its all trumps election that has caused the owners of Australia to change targets. We will probably need to open some more coal mines... Because of trump, not the billions that need to be given to a few people.

this is far to complicated a matter for governments to solve. we should form a working group to explore the issue and make some recommendations. in the mean time its best if people continue to mulch pooly labled plastic so as not to impact any suppliers profits. We all know the cause of this polution problem is the greens party. /s remember the names of the people who do not act in our interests.
