Well, it's solid FTB modpack, with cool quest, some custom systems(like their system for trade) and so on. Overall experience is great. FTB modpacks in general are great experience, would recommend any of them.

I just use MultiMC. It's just really easy to use and have modpacks of most launchers(no CurseForge sadly)

Also it's useful for your average Joe. Joe don't want to mess with his system, so immutability is his additional layer of security. It's not thing for tinkerers, it's meant to be same base on every system, and everything else is container.
