I would have loved Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 so much more if they didn't have the timer mechanic. Knowing that there were always a bunch of people who were going to die when timer bars reached zero was so stressful. It prevented me from just having fun in a huge zombie sandbox. In Dead Rising 2, the mechanic about needing to find medicine once a day was even MORE stressful on top of the other BS timer missions.
My knee jerk reaction is that the rumors I heard that the game isn't in a good place might be more then rumors. That sucks, I was really excited for this one, I hope it turns out great.
Let my people go....BROTHER!
I noticed this bullshit a few days ago on my Win 11 desktop! I found if you go check the settings of the start bar, you can hide the copilot icon in the lower right, and then there's a check box to enable the lower right hand corner to work as show desktop again. The functionality can be restore to exactly as it was, but what the hell were they thinking.
Enshitification, plain and simple.
I hope this is contagious.
When I was little, my mom dropped me and her friends kid off at a church for arts and crafts, I was 5. We we given toilet paper rolls, pipe cleaner, glue, and some other stuff to make butterflies. I studiously started making mine, I got the wings, the antenna and asked what I was supposed to use for the legs. A full grown ass women look me right in the eye and said "Butterflies don't have legs".
I had seen butterflies land on flowers and latch on with legs, I was so confused how an adult wouldn't know that.
Match Group deserves to collapse. Online dating has never been fun, but since Match Group bought up nearly every dating app, they've all become very homogeneous and outrageously more expensive.
I remember arguing with a co-worker about how this deal was pure crap, and even if Foxconn delivered all the jobs they said they would, it would take 40 years to recoup the cost of the tax breaks. Scott Walker screwed over that area of the state HARD, people had land ceased/forced out, huge costly changes to the infrastructure in that area where the factory was supposed to be.
Surprise surprise, the shitty deal turned out to be a shitty deal.
Yep, and given my experience talking with other US citizens about universal healthcare, they'll argue how it's some how a bad thing. It's just a reoccurring thing, people seem to be programmed to hate stuff that'd help them.
That doesn't seem like a prudent idea.
"Hmm, a lot of people are incredibly unhappy with decisions we've made in relation to Reddit, we should give them a highly visible visual way to express themselves and see what happens!"
Did you check out the article, because it's most definitely not a good thing. It was created to assist with cybercrime things, like writing malware, crafting emails for phishing attacks. The maker is selling access with a monthly fee to criminals to use it. This was unavoidable though, can't put the tooth paste back into the tube on this one.
I hope this works well! I'm trying to De-google my self, swapped of of gmail to proton mail. However I use a lot of spread sheets for tracking stuff and being able to access those from my desktop, from my phone, where ever via Google Docs was difficult to replace. I look forward to how people feel about this.
