You are welcome. And kudos for a well laid out, albeit very complicated question. If we were at work this is where I would have made you share your screen, lol.

Doesn't matter, but they contradict themselves.

Headline: why isn't everyone using it?
Body: This article breaks down what Linux is, why it's great and how it secretly powers most of your favorite devices, from smartphones to servers.

So it looks like most everyone is using it, they just might not realize it. Which to me is a sign of a great product, when it's use is completely transparent.

That's what I get for falling asleep. Looks like you guys nailed it. I just saw the first reply this morning, and was going to say exactly what you did. There was a default group entry and no actual group entry on the media/data folder. Appoxo, with no actual group entry for extUserG it wouldn't have permission in that folder, but any folder created in that folder would inherit the 'default group' permission and would have group permission for extUserG. :)

What is the acl permissions on the media/data folder? That is what the dir-mediaU would inherit.

I think we need the output of: root@NAS01:/srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-e3e0eac5-806a-44e9-a0e9-07fb99a18281/media# getfacl data

You have to watch this one too Johnny Cash - Rusty Cage and then follow it up with this Soundgarden - Rusty Cage.

Well this thread is going in my saved list.

For me, it's an odd one, but my love of jets means that Van Halen - Dreams is my all time favorite video.

I remember sitting around watching MTV just waiting for it to come on. Other distinct memories from that era.

Van Halen - Panama
Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue

And just some random picks of mine:

Alice In Chains - Them Bones
Tool - Vicarious
Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
Herbie Hancock - Rockit

You are missing something here. FTA "Alarmo will also let users check Records to get data on how much they move around while sleeping." You are paying to have a device in your kids room that will monitor their actions and report back to Nintendo. I am sure they will be completely transparent with what they do with that data.

You guys must be doing a great job because this is the first I have seen of this!

I don't care if you play the game, or what you play it on. I have plenty of other systems that I could purchase this on. I have basically every Xbox console generation since the original, and a Nintendo Switch. So while I could be getting this or other rockstar games on multiple systems, I choose not to due to their actions. You play whatever you want on whatever you want.I would hope that as gamers we could muster up some solidarity against companies doing things like they did. Because sure it might be "insert os here" that they blocked this time, but it might be "your os" that they deem unworthy next time.

Awww, sorry rockstar but due to your fucking of linux users with GTA Online, I won't be spending any money on your products. I am sure this will mean nothing and no one will care, but I figured I would say it anyway.

Not sure what it runs natively, but I just set out to use a rpi to replace a machine I moved to another room. Just need it to run a browser and at most watch youtube videos. My rpi2 definitely wasn't up to the task, so I went to a rpi 3b and unfortunately it isn't up to the task either as the browser quickly chewed up all 1gb of ram and then used the 1gb of swap to where it came to a grinding halt even trying to open youtube. Plugged in a rpi4 with 8gb of ram and it seems to be doing the job. I have a rpi4 with 4gb, but didn't even bother trying it. Resolution didn't seem to be the issue for me, it was space, and possibly sd card speed, but I wasn't going to fiddle with it too much. The rpi4 is working good and I am typing this reply on it.
