Make sure you stay on top of keeping your card updated, I was on the intro price for family plan for years but got a replacement card and forgot to update Google and had to re subscribe at the regular rate.

I’m pretty sure I have read that after you transition your Apple ID to an iCloud login that you are stuck with that.

I have been considering moving as well because Gmail doesn’t work well with Apples mail app, but I’m not sure I want my Apple ID permanently stuck to iCloud.

Yeah it’s wild, the week following a thunderstorm with hail I would get 3 or more door to door roofers every day trying to assess the roof to get insurance to pay for a replacement. I don’t know anyone in Florida who paid out of pocket to replace their roof.

It is actually impressive to see such a poorly run campaign, it was not too long ago that Desantis was being pitched as the heir apparent to Trump, an alternative who was smarter and without the scandals and baggage.

We have now seen him pass legislation that is incredibly unpopular on a national level with the abortion ban, pick an embarrassing fight with his states biggest employer, and he’s so unwilling to go against Trump that he’s defending his biggest competitor.

Since I became an adult I always found it kind of strange. I did not realize just how strange it was until I dropped my son off at Pre-K a little late and walked in to a whole class of 4 year olds hands on hearts mumbling through the pledge. It was sooo eerie.

I have always felt Desantis wanted to campaign as the heir to Trump and hoped Trump would quietly fade away. Trump didn’t do that and Desantis has refused to change tactics . At this point his strategy seems to be hoping Trump’s legal problems catch up to him and leave Desantis as the Trump alternative.

This does not work consistently for me, I get captchas regularly.

The Verges coverage of this has actually been really good. Most other media outlets that have covered it at all have had 1 or 2 that demonstrated a superficial understanding of the conflict.

The verge has been regularly keeping up with what’s going on and seem to have a pretty good grasp on the issues.

I don’t think anyone is spinning a bigger battery as genius innovation by Apple, but a bigger battery is nice to have. I wouldn’t even say this is Apple catching up though, battery life comparisons between the 14 Pro Max and S23 Ultra have been favorable to the iPhone and that’s with the Samsung having a 16% bigger battery.

Plus it’s a good thing to have companies competing with each other. I’m glad Samsung is putting bigger batteries in their phones if it gets Apple to continue improving battery life.

Agreed, I would like to rarely have to charge and when I do need to it’s with a cable I can use with all my other devices.

Hoping the 15 Pro will be great for battery. Seems like 12 and 14 took steps back in battery, 13 was great and hopefully 15 will be as well.

Inbox was so good, made email so easy. Can’t believe how long it’s been and no one has been able to replicate it. Still mad at Google for killing it off.
