Not surprising. Their relationship with Nippon TV seems to be recovering, but they would still have to deal with the increased scrutiny from the broadcasting ethics organisation.
The best I'm hoping for is that they feature in whatever new comedy show Nippon TV runs this new year.
Not officially cancelled. They've commented several times about trying to bring it back.
The Vegas show was already run under the increased scrutiny of the new content laws.
But the relationship between the stars and the company soured after the production of that show. It seems to be recovering now, though.
