To me any war on homeland soil would mostly mean crippling infrastructure via hacking & inciting unrest. Worst case scenario a strategic nuclear or emp strike on military sites though by that stage we're clearly in a very worrying place.

I get that most objections will be on religious grounds but with appropriate checks I believe this is a good thing to have in place.

I detect a rabid dislike of seagulls meets a slow news day

From Moon Safari

From the breakthrough album, Ancient Heart, 1988.

A much covered song that was featured in the film, The Thomas Crown Affair.

Iconic crunchy Fairlight fancies.

Less well known outside the UK his short life left some iconic singles and albums.

Ha. He should've put in an offer. £1.20?

Overpriced? I'd want bogoff for that money.

My irony meter has just exploded.

One of those songs that Paul McCartney gave to other artists whilst retaining a strong say in how it was interpreted. Number 2 in the UK and 13 on the Billboard top 100 in the US.

Love a bit of classic FSOL

Fugitive sheep on the run?

Gott go now, gotta gotta go now. The late 80s can be a bit vapid music wise (imho) but at least there was this.

Red Shoes was the first single that brought Costello to a wider public but Watching the detectives is still the big one in the Elvis Canon.

Love the two albums Iggy made with Bowie in the late 70s. Lust for life had a lot more energy than The Idiot as this classic song shows.

Ha. That often happens. They picked some great tracks to riff with.

Empire biscuit - Scotland specific but you might find them south of the bordr. Can be done badly (I'm looking at you Tesco) and come in sizes handy to "I'll never manage that but I'll give it a good try". For reference: https://baynes.co.uk/product/empire-biscuits-2-pack/

A mixed bag but manageable. Think I'm in the middle of an attack of sciatica right now but got a mercifully quick NHS physio appointment next week so we'll see. Best wishes all.

Good luck with your test. Took my third tries. By the third attempt I was used to the drill and went in assuming I'd fail again but it took the nerves away and passed (in truth I think I'd finally got some road sense) .

I'm aged 6 (mouths the word "six" ala the Joker in The Dark Knight) and I see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for the first time and think I realised I really enjoyed music and where it took me. I then nagged my Mum for the soundtrack album and tried to work out how to play the tunes on my Grans piano.
