Omori is fantastic, but also incredibly heavy (depictions of various mental health problems and dark themes; don't play it if you're not in a good place), and is unfortunately leaving on 07/01.
Persona 3 and 4 are pretty good, but I REALLY wish we'd gotten the PS2 version of P3 (FES) rather than the PSP one (Portable).
I work for a fairly big university and we still ask (or at least we did pre-COVID, when I handled some recruitment stuff). And it has to be, like... two references from two different positions (or classes or whatever)? Again, unless something changed.
References are hard as shit to get ahold of, too. I could pay off all my debts if I had a nickel for every time I had to get recruitment to nab us more refs.

Seconding ChatGPT; I do a lot of fantasy worldbuilding and run a few Pathfinder games, so having a semi-limitless sounding board for my ideas is a godsend.
And if you have plenty of time (relatively speaking), but don't want to put in a lot of effort?
Get a cheap slow cooker! There are so many amazing recipes that are just "toss five ingredients into a cooker and put on low for 8 hours".
God, probably Starcraft? I got it on the supercheap at Walmart a bit after I got my first PC (around 2000 or so).
Ayyy, same here w/ Satisfactory; I just decided to hop in after watching WAY too many factory videos on youtube. Only at tier 2, but I'm really hoping that I can somehow get a multi-entry storage container. I just want my production line to be a bit less horrifying.
There seems to at least be something added to combat, what with the weird gauge/meter thing and a combo counter? in some of the footage.
