There was one called Homophobia that got like 50 members after being created like 10 minutes before. And of all things, a community about homophobia. With a drawing of a Confederate beating up gay people.

I made it yesterday!!

Maybe it’s like my experience: They act quite defensive and only hang out with a few people. It seems they feel threatened by “outsiders”. Even when they’re not hurting is, we in turn feel threatened as well. Why is that?

Often, these people themselves are seen as outsiders, maybe picked on, went through trauma, etc. And even I don’t want to feel such a way, but I do feel some sort of “uncanny valley” by their behavior.

My grandpa doesn’t understand how hard it is for me to get up in the morning, to not hyperfixate, to not be emotionally unstable.

My friend says it’s normal for him to be like that and makes excuses and defenses for him.
