Is free, but you need a Doctorate to play it + a lot of time.

Source: I played POE 2300 hours and I barely understood half of its mechanics.

I am not sure if you just took the advice from one person or if there was proper discussion but know that I think is way better to keep one thread per game. Perhaps we can have more discussion about this, maybe a poll?

BTW, know that your job in this community is impressive and awesome. I am thankful for that. Keep it up!

I am strongly against this recommendation. The reason being that I am very happy with having one quick access post per top level game. That was one of the main features in r/soccer and I consider a luxury that we can have the same approach here in Lemmy.

Not having that will destroy the community for me.

Tremendo gol de Valverde!

I have blocked so many meme communities... Is like Lemmy is 50% memes.

Angel Correa MVP today.

Yeah, I have a tablet, which is where I tried to read digital comics. I didn't use my smartphone, desktop pc or laptop.

I admit that digital reading is suitable for graphic novels but considering that I work with a computer I value anything that I fit into my schedule that doesn't require screen time. That is the advantage of physical books for me.

Thanks for answering. I will check out the FAQ!

I tried in the past to get used to reading digitally and it didn't work for me. One of the reasons that I read graphic novels is to reduce my time in front of the screens.

I follow your Moebius posts in the [email protected] community and I am sure this is upsetting with all the effort you put in those posts.

Anyway, I hope that you decide to continue posting.

Looks interesting. Added this one to my ever-growing wishlist.

BTW, you collect physical or digital editions? Asking because I follow your posts and reviews (obviously :)), and if you do collect physical then your collection should be something awesome.

You can still hope. The acquisition is not complete yet.

Veo comunidades activas en otros idiomas (por ejemplo francés o alemán) pero en nuestro idioma casi no hay actividad, es una pena.

Aunque en Reddit tampoco había mucho que digamos.

When I hide posts in my feed I was expecting to not see them again (as it worked in RIF), but I do see them again if I refresh my feed.

I was a RIF user in Reddit, never used Sync before, so maybe this is working as intended. I hope it is a bug as for me hiding posts should prevent the post to appear again in my feed.

I filtered a community in the filters section in settings but I was still seeing that community in my feed.

So I opened the community and then blocked it with the options in the toolbar.

This worked but the community is not seen in the filtered communities.

So where exactly I see and manage my blocked communities?

EDIT: If anyone search this post later, I think that there is a difference withing BLOCK and FILTER a community.

BLOCK is at the instance level and related to my account in that instance.

FILTER is at the Sync app level.

I have tried both methods and they both meet my goal to stop seeing a community but if is best for me to use FILTER so I can manage this and see a list of what I have blocked in the Sync app.

The disadvantage with this second method is that if I use another app to access lemmy, or my instance, then I will see all the communities that I didn't want.

Not a big deal as it looks like I will be sticking with the Sync app.

Seeing people posting their collections or hauls in r/graphicnovels was a joy so it saddens me that this community still didn't kickoff. So here I am posting my collection in an attempt to get things started.

As you can see I have a varied taste, so my collection is diverse. I have many favorites but the writer I like the most is Alejandro Jorodowsky. As for the artist there are many good but the one that got me truly impressed recently was Sana Takeda (Monstress).

In general I don't get superheros stuff but there are clear exceptions in this picture.

I have an unread pile but opted to post only the ones I have read.

I look forward for recommendations, your comments and hopefully seeing others sharing their collections.

PS: Some books titles are in Spanish, feel free to ask me if you are curious about their title in English.

As an avid midlife gamer with nostalgic interest in gaming history I enjoy reading gaming books.

In this picture you can see the gaming books I own. My favorite is "Masters of Doom" followed by "The Ultimate History of Video Games" (I am aware there is a second volume).

I would like to hear more recommendations from you.

P. S: Note that PC gaming is my thing therefore it is highly unlikely that I will get a book about consoles or console games.

I am trying to add lemm.ee as an instance but no matter what I do I am getting "instance not found".

Anyone experiencing this?
