Samsung buds FE. They were like $60 bucks I had nearly the same goals. Cheap enough love them. I am nearing my second year and I use them daily.

I don't use assistant. The charge port us USB-c Noise canceling is ok. I use mine to fall asleep to audiobook or listen to podcasts while doing yard work. (I use proper hearing protection over the buds) Touch controls are default: one tap play/pause and long tap for ambient/noise cancel.

I did download the app to change touch settings on another old phone with google play services. To make double tap skip for podcast ads. Volume... I think these might miss that. Not sure tho. Not a need I have.

Did you do it? Did it fix it?

I use hyper backup to backblaze pretty cheap and to a friends house were I just have a smaller Synology and use hyper backup to store a copy there. And use hyper backup to backup hourly snapshots to a external 12tb drive. I'm only backing up photos from my phone and wife's phone. And some docs . So it's maybe 3tb on my main NAS.

So maybe just get a cheap 2 bay Synology? They are like $200 on amazon.

Do you have any resources for a similar setup?

If I recall phonetrack shared everyone with everyone. I like this Locus because its a one way share. So my brother can see where my wife is. But I can see where both are. I also like that its not Dependant on my infrastructure.

Ive been on the hunt for a while for something like this. I started looking again since the life360 breach. This is nearly perfect. Just need the iOS app to have a little more support and be in the app store for my less techy friends/family.

Well. I have a few servers there. Suppose I will move them. Nothing that isn't easy to move. I can probably find something cheaper on LEB. I just like vultr UI. A lot of the cheaper places make it feel like the early 00s.

Is there a section about the wiki on the wiki? I was wondering what the wiki tool is.

I have calyx hotspot/ tmobile home internet. Ive been having issues with my work Palo Alto Global Protect VPN and tailscale. Neither of them seem to stay connected. They will work for a bit after I reboot my modem. I am using the glinet spitz 5g modem. Any tips for band, MTU, or APN for better experience?

My cat keeps waking me up. Causing me to have a grumpy day. If my cat or any animal was prevented normal sleep would they get grumpy/agitated like humans?

More of a tailscalequestions I suppose, but the usecase is heavily this community. Double NAT so no port forwarding. Using Tailscale fine to get to jellyfix/plex. But how would one use it on a hotel TV or at a friends house/TV ? Thought?
