It worked! Wow, thank you so much! Seriously, you are awesome.

Especially around this time of year. I try to enjoy the holiday time off in what ever way feels right to me.
This year I didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving with family. Instead my partner and I stayed home, made a simple meal together, and had a quiet evening gaming.
I worked in retail for about a decade, so my associations with Christmas are less joyful than the average person. I don’t do any obligation gift giving, which has irritated people, but that’s fine.
I have found I enjoy celebrating anniversaries/holidays that are important to me in some way, even if it’s not what others do - like my own traditions celebrated in ways that feel meaningful to me.
The last piece I received was a hand knitted hat from my sister. I love it.
Last thing I bought was probably a dress from a thrift store. Would totally recommend thrifting, depending on availability in the area.
Oh It Takes Two is a good one! Played it with my partner a while back and had a great time!
Seen this more times than I can count, and tears every time.

Straight cereal. Milk is for putting chocolate in.
I had no idea. Thanks for tip! Definitely going to look into it!
Zerowater. It’s alright. I like the taste, but the replacement filters are pretty expensive.
We had some construction a few years back where they replaced the water pipes across our area of the city. For about two years while the project was going on, our water would randomly turn brown or orange for days… we used to drink straight tap water, but not any more.
Silent Hill and Silent Hill 3 - both games revolve around a cult that is trying to bring about the rebirth of their deity. You play as someone who finds themselves in the town of Silent Hill in search of a person. You solve puzzles, battle monsters, and navigate the town… and then it ends with you fighting a god.
Yep. Not even going to try and deny it. I know I am because sometimes I reach for it and start scrolling without even realizing that I’m doing it.
I tend to agree, but I’m also a very private person and like to keep my work life separate from my personal life. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with befriending or dating coworkers as long as both parties are able to be appropriately professional at work.
I think it may also depend on the type of job and where you work. I have worked at some places where I felt comfortable making friends and hanging out with coworkers - mostly retail jobs where the work itself was very social and casual.
My job right now is fully remote, so I’m friendly with coworkers, but can’t really hang out in person even if I wanted to.
Love beans! Seasoned and roasted with veggies, mashed and made into patties and fried/baked, in soups, in dips like hummus - all delicious!
