The proton client for Linux has improved recently. I use it on PopOS. As to your first point I agree. I landed with Proton specifically because it was cheaper to do it and email rather than separate services.
You've nailed some good ones here. It's been a while since I've seen it but I believe Speed Grapher also fits the bill.
It also overlooks that China has historically been conquered by outside forces as its leadership grew weak. And the Communist party was having enough trouble internally feeding its people and causing issues like the "break four olds" period that there was little ability to wage effective war.
Let's also not forget the the communists literally aided the Japanese in the rape of Nanking as it helped to undermine the GuoMinDang.

Is it just me or do all these recent press releases and marketing posts from proton kind of bring their own trustworthiness into question? I'm a subscriber and happy with their service but not necessarily the recent developments.
Having tried Fusion 360... It's interface and design paradigm is utter trash. NX, Creo, and Solidworks are all far ahead. Can't speak for catia, I've never used it but the versions I saw looked worse than Fusion
I use PopOS on my rig which is primarily gaming. It does great and gets out of my way.
