You cannot say that without revealing some details, c'mon

Wow, I've read the whole thing. If that goes through, they are going straight back to the 1880 labor's law, with child labor, no overtime and whatever the company wants to contract you. The consequences will be massive.

There are almost no minimum wage laws but 90% of workers are unionized or represented in some way. They strike very rarely because employers know unions are strong there but when they do, oh boy the whole country is behind the workers on strike.

130 mechanics started the whole thing!

It's been more than 25 years of accumulating mp3, editing and cleaning my libraries, upgrading to flac, etc. Now going strong at around 600gb of music.

Bitwarden. It's free, open-srouce, you can even self-host your own instance.. or pay 10$/year! for the full support. The free version has everything you will ever need.

This should be illegal. The spoon will drip the juice on the oven. Plus its a hazard if someone happen to swing near the spoon, it's game over.

How is the system running lemmy.ca doing? I'm curious to know about the storage size this instance has and if there was any plan to purge data after X years of inactivity?

[-] [email protected] 32 points 11 months ago

Maybe because android let apps scrap so much data.

You should go see the github for lemmy-ui. There is feature request to add the weight of the community into account so we don't only see the most popular post from the biggest communities. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues

Backblaze on a B2 account. 0.005$ per gb. You pay for the storage you use. You pay for when you need to download your backup.

On my truenas server, it's easy as pie to setup and easy as 🥧 to restore a backup when needed.
