Posy is the shit. Even Lazy Posy is better than most other channels.

I mostly do everything on my phone and I've found cloudstream satisfies my needs with a surprisingly negligible amount of effort. Is there something very much like that but for audiobooks (and possibly ebooks)?

Why do we treat the USPS like a business when it's a government function specifically mentioned in the Constitution?

What's interesting is that I can't even take this comment at face value, without further context. Is this a well-thought observation from the POV of a trans person who is intimately aware of their struggle in a broader context? Does this commenter understand the nature of comedy, or more specifically, Dave Chappelle, more deeply than I do? Can I add my opinion to this heated subject being a CIS male who is also a minority? Does any of the aforementioned even matter?

What I can say is that I've liked certain parts of his comedy. When it hits it's incredible. When it doesn't I feel like I'm watching 80s Eddie Murphy again.

While I believe that anyone and anything is fair game in comedy, I don't believe that how he's done it towards trans people has been in pursuit of comedy. In his previous specials it came across as shallow othering without the nuance that comes from actually seeing the subject as human. There's no payoff.

It just reminds me of my upbringing where gay (and queer) bashing for the sake of itself was normal. At this point in my life I'd rather continue distancing myself from that stuff than try to read between the lines.

Edit: to the OP, I'm not attacking your observation or character.

cobalt.tools is FOSS with no trackers or ads and can download from most places that matter.

My niece had this same issue a few years ago but with Photoshop. It absolutely ruined her. Changed schools multiple times (public and private) but social media exists so all the kids knew. She ended up getting homeschooled for the last 5 years of school as well as a fuckload of therapy. She came out the other side okay but she has massive trust issues and anxiety

Pre-60s stuff. I love the general audio quality and the orchestral arrangements backing the dramatic transatlantic dialogue.

Story time! My friend is a private pilot for an obscenely rich person. He dropped them off wherever the nearest airport is and man in a luxury RV picked them up. He drove them there, set the whole thing up, and left them to have fun. Apparently this is not an abnormal thing they do.

I guess last night they got a hold of the dude, who drove to an area a couple hours walk away, and they hiked to his truck. He went to the RV and they drove the truck 4 hours to Reno, and they're staying at a four seasons or something. My buddy had to cancel his own vacation to go and pick them up this morning so now I'm at a beach watching his kids.

Whatever it was before, burning man is a playground for the 1%. When the shit hits the fan, their money will always get them out of any situation.

Oh and my supervisor quit a month later, right after he got the end of year bonus. I don't blame him. Good dude. He helped a lot of the team secure other jobs in the industry within 3 months

That happened to me. I noticed a vague Monday morning meeting when I logged on. Checked with my team to see if they knew what it was about and no one knew. Supervisor was MIA on slack. Just before it starts we got a group text from him that essentially said, "what the fuck. I'm so sorry guys. I'm not allowed to speak or I'm immediately fired"

I checked the invite list and, sure enough... VP of department, VP of HR, my supervisor, and my small team. I instantly knew we were all fired.

Joined the meeting a few minutes early and it was just my teammates all wondering out loud what's going on. They're all pretty young. Couldn't help but blurt out, "nice knowing yall..."

Supervisor texts me with "please don't, we'll grab a drink right after this"

The cool executives log and blah blah blah your team is getting shuttered thanks bye.

We did get drinks at 9:30 in the morning.

It was a mildly funny meme but jfc they just can't let it go. They latch onto anything and sew it into their American flags

I want to go on adventures with my kid. I'm not an experienced GM so something or things that are relatively simple to run and also levelled for a 5 or 6 year old. Could be campaigns or one pages

They Cloned Tyrone is a surprise for me. Great modern scifi/blaxploitation film, though I have about 30 minutes left to finish.

Finally finding the time to finishAndor and what the fuck?! How is it so good???

The only thing I knew about him was that he works in construction, because his work shirt said as much haha. I had no idea how to relate to the guy. Or even start a conversation.

Man do I say? I haven't watched sports in forever and that normally always works. I wonder if he has kids. I can jokingly talk shit about my kids all day, but if I start with that he'll think I'm fucking crazy!

Is he not drinking bud light because of politics or because the yeungling was at the top of the ice chest? He looks like he works out- should I ask him about it? Fuck, I don't know shit about gyms. How do I follow that up?

Damnit I hate parties. Is he thinking the exact same thing as me? All my partner's friend's partners are country boys and this always happens. Why is this so hard? A third of my friends are country as fuck

"So, you listen to music?"

Fuck I'm an idiot

15 minutes of the awkward silence that comes from a dash of regular anxiety and a heap of how-masculine-do-I-need-to-be-right-now-to-relate-to-a-new-human-male.

Sorry if this isn't appropriate for this sub but I like the concept and want to see more engagement and also this just happened.
