It sounds like you're going though a tough time. I haven't been in your exact situation, but I've had a few severe depressive episodes before. While I can't help improve your material conditions, I can at least offer some general advice for managing symptoms of depression.

In the short term, keep active. I know it sounds pointless or completely unrelated. I felt the same way, but over time it really does affect your overall mood. Go for walks, do some push ups, or find some other light exercise that works for your fitness level.

Make sure you get the right amount of sleep. With depression, some people stay in bed napping all day, and others hardly sleep at all. I tend to stay up way too late. Try to keep a regular sleep schedule. It really does have a huge impact on cognitive function.

In the longer term, find a local group where you can regularly interact with people over a shared common interest. A book club, a bowling league, community theater, whatever you're into.

Losing your job could be a blessing in disguise. It doesn't sound like you were particularly fond of the old job. Now you have a chance to find something better. Be grateful that you a family you can live with in the mean time. Some people aren't so fortunate.

I don't know you, but I hope things get better for you.

I bought a router that supports OpenWRT, and then installed AdGuard right on my router

I am re-arranging the shelves in an old bookcase, and I'm having trouble removing a few broken shelf pins inside the holes I want to use. They don't protrude enough for me to get any kind of grip with the needle-nose pliers that I used to take out the other pins.

The shelf pins are this style. Quarter inch diameter. Not sure what kind of metal they're made out of. The pin itself is hollow, which rules out most of the common solutions for this kind of problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to remove these?

I like your idea for level scaling in some places but not others! That would mean the main story and maybe some important side quests can always be appropriately challenging, but random no-name bandits won't be walking around with enchanted daedric weapons. A perfectly immersive compromise.

I think I would like something along the lines Skyrim's system, where you just get better at skills by using them, but with more perks that are actually impactful and fewer perks that just boost damage without really changing how you play.

And enemy level scaling should go. I always hated seeing random bandits on the road with top-tier weapons and armor. It breaks immersion and makes my progression feel less meaningful.

I would love an easier way to go back to the top. It feels like the instance switcher doesn't always come back when I scroll up to up to use it. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or what.

I absolutely loved the first one, I replayed it several times to make sure I saw everything there was to see. I couldn't put it down. I was probably going to buy the sequel no matter what, but seeing these (mostly) positive reviews makes me even more excited. Hopefully it captures me the same way that the original did.

I've been using Nova for years on various different phones. My wife has used it on all her Pixel phones for a while now too. I haven't noticed any real difference in performance between devices, it always feels responsive to me.

I love how many settings and options there are, you can tweak just about anything. Lots of gesture options (double tap, swipe, two finger swipe, etc) that can be assigned to just about anything. I only use swipe up to open the app drawer and swipe down to expand notifications, but you can also assign them to open any app or even like a Tasker shortcut.

I didn't see a way to re-order them per se, but as a work-around I removed my accounts and re-added them in a different order.

  • By starting the game from within certain articles released on a specific Switch News channel (accessed via the HOME Menu) players can receive a number of in-game items.

I just checked, nothing in Switch News as of now. I wonder what in-game items we'll get? It'll probably just be something small like a couple meals and/or elixirs.
