I catch myself getting an attitude with family members, customers at my work, etc. for small things, usually for not going at the same pace as me (keep asking questions, rushing me, interrupting, not understanding something, just generally being inconvenienced). I really hate that I’m like this, I feel guilty almost every time I do it. What are some ways that I can change my attitude towards people and in general? I know everyone is in their own world and almost nothing is personal but it’s hard not to react like it is.

Are you stressed a lot of the time? Do you have some need that is unfilled? You may have a shortness of patience with others because your mind is busy with something else.

I do this same thing, usually when I'm overly focused on something and something else takes my attention. I've found meditation helps as a way to practice breathing before reacting. A good life skill to have, but it takes time to develop.

Best of luck to you. In the meantime you can often balance out bad attitude with a sincere compliment or gratitude.
