MODERATORS

This may seem like a silly question but do you guys occasionally go bookworm subreddit (say to view art/memes)?

In my case I tend to mostly discuss bookworm stuff on lemmy/discord while only occasionally going to the subreddit to view meme packs/art.

Curious on your thoughts

I used to participate on the honzuki subreddit, but closed my account when they decided to kill 3rd party API access. I haven't been on the discord channel at all, but I've occasionally participated on the j-novel club forums. Lately I've been here almost exclusively.

Unfortunately while I love Lemmy and am more active on it than Reddit. The Reddit community has more stuff happening.

I do my part to ~~spread awareness of the saint~~ have discussions here. But I constantly go back to Reddit to see the community.

Lemmy has a bit of a chicken and egg problem, which is partly why I was so proactive in getting this instance started while the reddit drama was still hot. I don't think we'd have as many people in the weekly discussions otherwise.

I guess content will increase with time but until then it's a waiting game.

I've never registered on Reddit and currently have no intention to ever do so.
