Great game, well deserved bit I dont think I'm as high most people are. While it does most things better than botw, I cant say I agree that it does everything better.

Dungeons, while the theming is great now they are missing central mechanic that affects the whole dungeon. Like the water elevation in the ocarina of time water temple in OoT, or the flipping of stone tower temple in MM. While the theming and bosses were dreadfully boring in botw, the bests all had some king of mechanic that resembled a classic zelda dungeon mechanic.

I also think exploration has taken a big hit, the towers have such big utility in giving you airtime it can trivialize a lot of terrain, so the path of least resistance os usually, telepost to the nearest tower and slowly fly to where you want to go.

But all in all I'm still having a great time with the game.

I felt the same about the towers, until I realized that the true exploration is in the Depths. The regular map is recycled from BOTW anyway, so I think it was the right call to make getting around easier.

I realized the exact same thing just today, I was surprised at how easy it was to discover the whole map until it dawned on me it was fairly empty, and all the good stuff in underground.
