Wait, did you actually? This might sound wierd but my eyes only got like above avarage moisty. I'd like to know if I'm stoic or if you were just making a joke.

don't get me wrong I feel that it's a touching story, and I find it beautiful, I just didn't get that emotional to cry.

I mean, different people have different emotional responses to things. Something that makes you completely break down and sob won't break a frown on someone else.

Why is it that in all these stories the kid is actually decent, listens to their parents advice and does well in life?

A lot of the kids I know are little arseholes who do the exact opposite of whatever their parents tell them.
