Similar to the Child Victims Act, the ASA gives alleged victims of sexual assault a window to seek monetary damages long after the statute of limitations for possible criminal charges expired.

I have a feeling we’re going to see a lot of rape lawsuits come out against the police in this country in upcoming years. If they can be openly racists then they’re not above this sort of shit

This is happens in all Juvenile and women correctional facilities. Since the US justice system has never been about rehabilitation they've (meaning us as a society) have never bothered to vet staff and protect those being held.

Most people are people. Reasonably good but self-interested. But even a small percentage of bad people multiplied by humanity is a huge number, particularly when self-interest overlaps with evil.
