Glad to see this game get a comeback! The original is one of my personal childhood favorites. I spent hundreds of hours across over a dozen playthroughs.

Same man, I still have the SNES cartridge, replayed it this year I was stoaked when they announced this.
Definitely a blast of nostalgia for me as well. I may end up finally buying a switch.
This is not my type of game but Nintendo is really on a streak with huge releases lately. Zelda, Mario Wonder, Metroid and so on.
This is objectively one of the best video games. It transcends "types" of games.
I would strongly recommend you give it a shot.
It's one of, of if not THE, best game on the SNES.
