I have no fix to offer, but in googling around it seems like you're not alone...unfortunately, I also didn't find any solution. Kind of weird to see posts about this going back two years but not finding a good fix...

MODERATORS
The audio mixing for that game is a bit off sometimes and they never fixed.
There's also the camera problem where it always defaults to one side of the character even if you change it.
I love the game, but yeah it's a shame they never fixed these problems.
