I'm approaching the last few days of the porter buff, and while it's been amazing getting all these mats, I'm almost looking forward to playing on a more normal schedule.

Currently I feel like I have to play all the time to take advantage of the buff, anyone else have similar experiences?

Having said that, I kinda like the idea of having this be a yearly event for a week or even just a weekend, kinda like DXP.

I'd like to hear how others have found the buff :)

I was sitting at 99 Archaeology and have wanted to get the Death Note relic for months now but have been too lazy. The porter buff motivated me to get to 108 for the relic and I ended up stopping at 110. I would have gone for 120 but I got burnt out. Nice event, but I'm glad I can focus on everything else without feeling pressured to use up every minute of the buff without feeling FOMO.

I lowkey ignored the porter buff for a while because I'm 120 in all gathering skills. I then realised I should be grinding out things like slimy egg in menaphos, to take advantage of full afk fishing and woodcutting etc. My menaphos journal looks very nice now I've been afk there for a while.

I realized too late that I could have been afking Archaeology mats to sell them.

I wanted to do that but it really felt like a waste of time especially at 200m arch exp.
