I completely missed this was supposed to be a prequel and was so confused on who everyone was. Even after Gojou was introduced, it took me a bit. I'm interested in seeing how his backstory plays out.

Is this entire season going to be a prequel? I don't mind, but I was also looking forward to more Todo and Itadori.
The anilist page shows the main cast, so I assume the prequel will be just a single arc, maybe 6 episodes, before returning to our main group.
MAPPA doing what MAPPA does, animation was top notch. Can’t wait to see everything adapted.
I really need to use this as an excuse to rewatch the entire first season
Honestly not really a fan of some of the camera work in the mansion, the weird CGI background was kind of off-putting for me. I still enioyed it, I just hope the art direction stays closer to season 1 and the movie. Really excited to see my boyfriend Gojo's backstory though :)
Really enjoyed this section of the manga, so I'm definitely excited to see it all animated. First episode was, as others have already said, top notch, so this is looking to be a banger of a season.
I haven't read the manga yet so I hadn't realized it would be a prequel, but I was curious if this was where the manga went to after the point where season 1 ended.
I did read the manga and somehow I don't remember this arc. I guess the reading comprehension devil strikes again 😅
I loved this episode. The way they expanded out the part with Meimei and Utahime felt natural. Getou's save of the star vessel was so cool to look at. I'm really looking forward to more
