HP sold a printer with 'no' usb port, touting it as completely wireless, and you had to use their bullshit app setup and cloud because no wired connection! None!
There was a usb port, under a sticker, that was functional. This modular PSU appears to be the same obscuration, not sure if those ports are wired though
It's also entirely possible it was just a fuckup at the factory with the label

You're probably gonna have a bad time using that connector, can't imagine it was blocked for no reason.
