The problem isn't the fact that people are finding this out for the first time. The problem is that the article makes it look like this is a new discovery. Which is entirely false.
I have no issue with people sharing what they have just learned. The issue is that the article is basically saying this is new. Which out of any media news should not be like that

This exact tectonic shift has been seen before as it is what created both the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden between the two connected landmasses.
