Hi everyone! I believe it is important to introduce people to this whole new concept of the fediverse, so I wrote an introductory, semi-in-depth post about it, and I'd like your opinions on it. Should I add anything? Remove anything?

That's a great explanation, I just shared it with someone I was trying to explain Lemmy to earlier today.

As someone who has recently joined that was really informative. Everything else I've read explains the 'what' without really explaining the 'how'.

Only thing I would say is the apps comment is a bit outdated. For example wefwef is now voyager (which I just installed try and am typing this now in it). Jerboa, not Gerboa.

Potentially a link to one of the posts linking all the apps?
