As a guy who has to wait for the PC version anyways I laugh at your pain.
I've got to assume there's some dodgy prints going around? I got a PAL version of the game on disc (standard edition) and it installed without issue, and so far I've not noticed any significant issues with that installation.
After all the breathless hyperbole from reviewers and Sony it’s a bit of a treat to see them slapped square in the face with reality.
Looking forward to playing this in a couple months when I clear my backlog.
