I cannot figure it out. I search for anything, and it always show you the most recent comment that includes that what you are searching. That is useful for recent or ongoing events. But if I want to see the Top of the day, or most Rotoots or something like that, to see the best comments or the best explanations/summary for something, How is that done?

I don't think that's usually possible on mastodon as it is more focused on timelines so as far as i know there are no different ways to sort posts on a hashtag search aside from most recent first

There's the trending tab but it doesn't filter posts by hashtags tho, is more general, i think

But maybe they can end up adding that someday, who knows right?
