The Republicans truly have no idea what to do or how to get their shit together now that the Democrats have finally said “Not my clown; not my circus.”
- you were the whip, so this should be both unsurprising and also something you could deal with, and 2) you aren't owed votes. If you aren't offering anyone what they want, their job is technically to get stuff for their constituents. No goodies, no support. You don't get in just because.
